650.784.1839 Instructors Denny Prokopos Travis Magalit Check out more reviews at	Travis Magalit, currently a purple belt under Denny Prokopos, was one of the first students when 10th Planet San Francisco opened in the beginning of 2008, and he has been Denny's most dedicated student ever since.   Travis is a lifelong martial artist, studying Karate and Tae Kwon Do as far back as grade school. As he got older, he broadened his interests to Wing Chun, Muay Thai and Judo. Travis first met Denny when he decided to try out the jiu jitsu class at his kickboxing gym, and, while he left the gym shortly after, Denny's enthusiasm stuck with him. When Travis heard that Denny opened his own studio at Valencia Street Muscle Gym, he enrolled right away, and he's been there ever since.   Travis' rapid improvement was obvious, and Denny recognized an opportunity to develop Travis, not only as a fighter, but also as a teacher. Denny has been continuously growing and refining Travis' knowledge of 10th Planet jiu jitsu, ensuring that Travis can deploy the right move at the right time and that he can show other students how to do the same. In Denny's words, "I've passed on my desire to teach to him more than anyone".   Travis has proven himself an able instructor at all levels, leading beginning, intermediate and advanced classes at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, San Francisco, from time to time, and at all ages, teaching the K-5 children's program at Horseman Elementary School.
